Hi, my name is Kirsten. I'm a 20 year old, full time student with a love for the sport of gymnastics. I've been a coach here at Extreme Gymnastics and Cheer for nine months; however, my gymnastics life started a long time ago. I started doing gymnastics at the young age of three and trained/competed through level six, when I decided to "retire" at age nine. I pursued other sports, like soccer and softball, until age thirteen, when I joined a "teachers in training" program at the local gymnastics center. On my sixteenth birthday, I got a job as a coach there, where I stayed for three years. After taking a year off, I am excited to be back in the gym coaching and taking on new responsibilities, such as coaching kinder and recreational classes, pre-team, and girls competitive team.
